Chairman's Weekend - Oxford to Cambridge - August 2013
Seven Morris Minors gathered in Northampton ready to set of for Oxford on the first annual 'chairman's weekend'.
The Saturday featured a 40 mile convoy to Oxford to see the vehicles at the Oxford Bus Museum and then to attend Nuffield place; the former home of Sir William Morris (Lord Nuffield), founder of Morris Motors. After staying in Tring for Saturday night we set off for Cambridge, stopping at a garden centre on the way and finally meeting members of the Cambridgeshire branch at the Orchard Tea Gardens in Grantchester. |
