MAISE'S MAKEOVER
1968 TRAVELLER
Purchased in August 2019, currently stripped down ready for chassis repairs.
Latest about Maisie
It’s been a very busy and grubby time since the last entry. Hopefully the welding is all finished🤞All the repairs painted except for the bits that need spraying blue which have been stripped to bare metal (on the outside)or the paint sanded (inside) Terry and I spent the hottest day fettling and fitting all the panels and sealing them ready for spraying (a walk in the park for a couple of ex fire eaters). Photos show Maisie out for some long awaited fresh air while I try to reduce the amount of dust on the floor and try to tidy up a bit.
Next tasks are:
1. Load her onto a trailer and take her to the spray shop.
2. Fit the timbers and panels to the body.
3. Fit the roof and gutters and have the gutters sprayed.
4. Collect her from the spray shop.

Sealer removed👍😃
Underside of bonnet covered in black sealer. Next 4hrs spent cleaning it. More thinners and elbow grease used to clean it and me.
